Principio de incertidumbre

Principio de incertidumbre began with the artist’s loss of a loved one and her search for a language for their absence. Its starting point was a dot on a blank page, accompanied by the words “You left me like this, without art.” What she first understood as an inability to create became a self-portrait: a minimal way of locating herself when everything seemed displaced.

The dot marks a position in space and a moment in time. It holds a tension between nothing and everything, between reduction and the possibility of a beginning.

From this gesture emerged a series of portraits of relationships at specific moments. Through the density of lines and variations in grey, each drawing captures her perception of a bond as it changes. These portraits explore what exists between people, giving temporary form to relationships continually shaped by time, memory and perception.
